Scope: 230 Vac power path from the supply to the pump motor: IG, contactors SD and S, motor.. The drawing is a lift wiring diagram; the motor power circuit is the only clear power-flow path suitable for a source-to-sink model.
Boundary: Source = 230 Vac power supply at terminals L/N; sink = pump motor M.. The supply terminals are the point where the drawing starts, and the motor is the load that lifts the platform.
Can fail: source, breaker, sink. Supply, the switching devices in the motor power path (IG, contactors S and SD) and the motor itself can fail; terminals and wiring are treated as perfect connectors.
Success: any_path. The pump motor runs if the 230 V supply reaches it through IG, SD and S; the drawing shows a single radial path, so any path equals the one path.
Not modelled:
- Separate line and neutral conductors: Both conductors pass through the same devices (IG two poles, S 1-2/3-4, SD 1-2/3-4), so each device is one block; modelling them as parallel paths would invent false redundancy.
- Motor run capacitor, transformer TR.M, 24 V control circuit, DOMUSLIFT controller, contactor coils, safety chain: Outside the chosen scope of the main power path; their failures would act on the motor via control logic rather than a power path.
- Hydraulic electrovalves ED/EBS/EBD/DL, lighting, alarm, photocells: Separate circuits not in the pump motor supply path.
